The AANS Announces New Policy for Abstract Submissions for its Annual Meeting

The Scientific Program Committee (SPC) of the AANS wishes to alert you to a new change in policy for the submission of abstracts to the AANS Annual Meeting. All neurosurgeons and residents whose abstracts are accepted by the AANS SPC will be eligible to present their papers at the AANS Annual Meeting as long as they have not presented their work prior to the Abstract submission deadline date: September 25, 2009. If you present your work at another meeting after the submission deadline date, it will not pose a problem to present it at the AANS Annual Meeting.

The only exception to this policy is that Plenary Session Presentations at the AANS Annual Meeting must not have been presented at any prior meeting.

The AANS supports this change in policy to make the Scientific Program at the AANS Annual Meeting the best that it can be.
